Suspends pension benefit and annuity payments for any retirement system or pension fund member or participant who is indicted or charged by information with a felony related to their service in that system.

Resumes benefit payments with interest (at a rate set by the retirement system or pension fund board) if the member or participant is acquitted or the felony charges are dismissed.

Forfeits suspended benefit payments permanently if the member or participant is convicted of the felony, though they retain the right to a refund of their own contributions.

Applies retroactively to all current and former members regardless of when they initially joined their retirement system or pension fund.

Requires implementation without state reimbursement to local pension funds and takes effect immediately upon enactment.
