IL HB5806

Amends the Residential Real Property Disclosure Act (765 ILCS 77/5) to modify the definition of "seller."

Excludes from the definition of "seller" any beneficiary who has both never occupied the residential real property and never had management responsibility for it.

Applies to beneficiaries of trusts, testate dispositions, intestate succession, transfer on death instruments, and other parties with legal or equitable interest in residential real property.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
