Encourages Illinois state human services agencies and departments to continue training staff and sharing information about the Illinois ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) program with beneficiaries they serve

Recognizes the Illinois ABLE program, launched in January 2017, which allows people with disabilities to save for qualified disability expenses without losing federal means-tested benefits

Notes program achievements as of January 1, 2021: more than 1,900 Illinois ABLE accounts opened with approximately $17 million contributed for expenses such as therapy, adaptive equipment, transportation, housing, and job coaching

Identifies approximately 300,000 ABLE-eligible individuals in Illinois who could be reached through state agencies including the Department of Human Services, Department on Aging, Department of Children and Family Services, and Illinois State Board of Education

Directs copies of the resolution be delivered to nine specified state agencies and departments to promote interagency cooperation in advancing ABLE program goals
