Marshal Hopkins was fatally shot by Charles Miller during an arrest attempt after pursuing two intoxicated men who fled from custody

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect plaques or signs at suitable locations marking the memorial road designation

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to Marshal Hopkins' family, IDOT, the Morris Police Department, and the Mayor of Morris
