Designates a portion of Illinois Route 148 near Christopher as the "Firefighter Kody M. Vanfossan Memorial Highway" in honor of the 3rd generation volunteer firefighter who died on May 5, 2019 while responding to a building fire.

The designated highway section extends north from the city limits at Harrison Street and Highway 148 to the northeast intersection of Yellow Banks Road and Illinois Route 148.

Requests the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect plaques or signs at suitable locations along the memorial highway, consistent with state and federal regulations.

Directs copies of the resolution be presented to Kody Vanfossan's family, the City of Christopher, and the Secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation.
