Urges the federal government to recognize Specialist Edward Aldrich and all members of Company B, 720th Military Police Battalion (the Bushwackers) with the Combat Infantry Badge for their Vietnam War service.

Members of Company B performed infantry tactical operations including ambushes, reconnaissance, and patrol missions lasting up to 12 days despite being trained as military police officers.

The Bushwackers served as the first line of defense protecting Long Binh Post, the largest military base in South Vietnam, covering a 22 square mile tactical area around Long Binh and Bien Hoa.

Company B personnel called in their own air strikes, support, and artillery similar to infantry units, though they were not officially classified as infantry soldiers.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Specialist Edward Aldrich in recognition of his service and sacrifice.
