Encourages local school districts and educational agencies to fund afterschool robotics programs and support National Science Foundation math and science education initiatives.

Calls on schools and educators to observe the day with activities that teach students about robotics and engage them in mathematics and science study.

Acknowledges the growing robotics industry projected to reach $27 billion globally and its potential to create jobs, increase productivity, and improve worker safety.
