Urges the P-20 Council to convene a geographically representative College and Career Readiness (CCR) Funding and Governance Task Force to study and make recommendations on regional college and career readiness systems

Task force would examine local and national best practices for regional CCR system governance and funding, including roles of secondary districts, community colleges, and employers

Task force membership should include representatives from secondary education, community colleges, universities, teachers' associations, school management associations, employers, workforce boards, and state education agencies

Illinois State Board of Education is urged to report findings from its external evaluation of the Education for Employment (EFE) CTE funding system to the P-20 Council for the task force's consideration

P-20 Council is urged to present findings and recommendations for governance or funding improvements by October 31, 2022 to multiple state agencies and legislative caucuses, after which the task force would dissolve
