Declares April 26, 2022 as "Frederick Law Olmsted Day" in Illinois to mark the 200th anniversary of Olmsted's birth.

Recognizes Frederick Law Olmsted as the founder of landscape architecture in the United States and a premier landscape architect of the 19th century.

Acknowledges Olmsted's influential designs including Jackson Park, Washington Park, and the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893 in Chicago, as well as the Village of Riverside.

Honors Olmsted's philosophy that landscape designs should promote community, advance democracy, provide recreational opportunities, improve public health, and develop livable communities.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to the organizers of the Olmsted 200 celebration.
