Designates March 29, 2022 as "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" in Illinois to honor veterans who served in the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1975.

Commemorates the anniversary of March 29, 1973, when U.S. combat and support units completed their withdrawal from South Vietnam following the January 27, 1973 Treaty of Paris.

Acknowledges that more than 58,000 U.S. Armed Forces members died in Vietnam and over 300,000 were wounded during the conflict.

References the 2011 federal designation of March 30th as "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" and establishes a corresponding state observance one day earlier.

Encourages all Illinois citizens to honor and recognize Vietnam veterans who served the United States during the war.
