Honors Leslie Maxwell "Max" Scott II, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at age 90.

Recognizes Scott's career as a speech pathologist serving special needs students in Central Illinois schools, including work at Lincoln State School for Disabled Children and various school districts.

Notes Scott's additional work as a high school teacher, drama director, and public address announcer at Maroa-Forsyth High School, as well as his 25-year tenure with McGraw-Hill Book Company starting in 1966.

Survived by his brother Garett Scott, son Thomas Jefferson Scott and his wife Betty Lau, and multiple grandchildren; preceded in death by his wife Mary (married 51+ years), siblings, and two sons.

Extends the Illinois House of Representatives' condolences to Scott's family and friends, directing that a copy of the resolution be presented to his family.
