House Resolution mourning the death of Robert Dyas Gordon Sr. of Springfield, who passed away on July 22, 2022.

Robert Gordon served in World War II and Korea, worked for the FBI, and became a pioneer broadcaster and television executive, serving as vice president and general manager of WCPO-TV in Cincinnati for 17 years.

Gordon served as chairman of the Television Board of the National Association of Broadcasters and retired as president and CEO of Boston University Communications, Inc. in 2001.

Gordon was survived by his wife of 72 years Ruby, three sons, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one niece.

House extends condolences to Gordon's family and friends, with a suitable copy of the resolution to be presented to his family.
