Illinois House of Representatives memorializes Nancy Marie Nozicka, who passed away on July 10, 2022.

Nozicka was born in Berwyn in 1958, graduated from Morton East High School, and earned an undergraduate degree in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago.

She had a 38-year nursing career at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, including work in the Emergency Department and as the hospital's first heart failure coordinator after earning her Master of Science to become an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).

She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Libertyville and is survived by her husband Charles Nozicka, four children, three grandchildren, and other family members.

The House extends condolences to her family and friends and directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to the Nozicka family.
