Recognizes the General John Stark Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution on the 115th anniversary of its charter in June 2022.

Chapter was organized on June 22, 1907, with 29 charter members meeting at the home of Lucetta P. Boynton in Sycamore and named after General John Stark, a Revolutionary War leader.

Awards thousands of dollars annually to area students through the Good Citizen Award, American History Essay Contest, and Lois Callahan Scholarship; donates to Bacone College and other Native American schools of higher education.

Contributes to community preservation efforts including bronze plaques marking historical sites, a bench at the DeKalb County History Center, trees planted in memory of World War I soldiers, and recognition of historical preservation projects.

Engages in veteran support programs including Wreaths Across America, Honor Flights to Washington D.C., cemetery cleanups, and research and preservation of Revolutionary War documents and soldiers' records.
