Memorial resolution honoring Richard Henry "Rich" Niemann Sr., who passed away on September 25, 2022.

Recognizes Niemann's career developing Niemann Foods into a company operating 130 retail stores across five states, including Harvest Market, County Market, Save-A-Lot, and other grocery and convenience store brands.

Documents his extensive service to community organizations including the Food Marketing Institute, Illinois Food Retailers Association, Quincy University, St. Mary Hospital, and the Rotary Club of Quincy.

Acknowledges his charitable contributions through the Niemann Foods Foundation (established 2006), partnerships with Quincy University including the Connie Niemann Center for Music, and support for the Connie Niemann Wheeler Scholarship Fund.

Directs the House to extend condolences to his surviving wife of over 70 years, seven children, numerous grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.
