Urges the Speaker of the House to schedule a House State Government Administration Committee or Personnel & Pensions Committee hearing during the November 2022 Veto Session regarding changes to state retiree healthcare

Illinois Department of Central Management Services selected Aetna as the new Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug provider for state retirees, replacing the current contract expiring December 31, 2022

Requests that Administration and CMS officials testify before the committee to explain the healthcare provider change and answer questions from legislators

Calls for state retirees and members of the public to be invited to provide testimony on how the healthcare provider changes will affect them and their families

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to Governor JB Pritzker, House Speaker Emanuel Chris Welch, and the Director of CMS
