Congratulates Thomas "Tom" Ramage, Ed.D., on his retirement as president of Parkland College, Illinois Community College District #505, at the end of Fall 2022 semester.

Recognizes Dr. Ramage as the fifth president of Parkland College with 15 years as president and 25 years total service to the institution.

Acknowledges his leadership in completing a $92 million Campus Master Plan that created six new buildings adding 250,000 square feet of educational facilities across the 3,000 square mile district.

Highlights achievements during his tenure including acquisition of the Institute of Aviation at Willard Airport in 2014, enrollment of over 350 international students from 50+ countries annually, and maintaining balanced budgets through economic recessions, state budget crises, and the pandemic.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to Dr. Ramage as a symbol of esteem and respect.
