Congratulates Bernard "Bernie" Nash on his 100th birthday on November 7, 2022.

Recognizes Nash's military service in the U.S. Navy beginning in 1941, including combat in World War II and retirement as a rear admiral in 1982 after serving in Naval Reserves.

Honors Nash's role as deputy commissioner in the Administration on Aging and as the first executive director of AARP, where he served until 1982.

Credits Nash with establishing AARP's Tax-Aide Program in the 1970s, which currently serves 2.7 million older Americans annually, and helping to found the Foster Grandparents program.

Presents a resolution expressing the Illinois House of Representatives' esteem and respect to Nash, who currently resides at Smith Crossing senior living community in Orland Park.
