Congratulates Diane Brockmeier on her retirement as president and CEO of Mid-America Transplant, the federally designated Organ Procurement Organization serving 28 counties in the Metro East and Southern Illinois.

Recognizes her 35+ years of service with the organization, including roles as a nurse and organ procurement coordinator before becoming president and CEO in February 2016.

Highlights her key accomplishments including designing a first-in-the-nation on-site surgical suite for organ and tissue recovery, overseeing the largest industry experience with free-standing Organ Recovery Centers (over 2,500 organ donors), and more than doubling the number of organs transplanted.

Notes her receipt of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2015 and 2021, making Mid-America Transplant the first organization in the industry to win the award twice, as well as the Healthcare Excellence Award in 2016 and recognition as one of the Most Influential Business Women in St. Louis in 2017.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Brockmeier as an expression of esteem and respect for her retirement in January 2023.
