Illinois House of Representatives mourns the death of Henry Lee Darden, who passed away on October 23, 2022

Henry Lee Darden was born March 9, 1936 in Clarksdale, Mississippi; graduated from Jean Baptiste Point DuSable High School in Chicago; served in the U.S. Air Force; and worked as a steel worker and union steward at Reynolds Metal Company

Henry Lee Darden is survived by four children (Edwin, Kimberly, Jacqueline, and Teresa), seven siblings, twelve grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members

House extends sincere condolences to the family, friends, and all who knew and loved Henry Lee Darden
