Congratulates the Veterans Assistance Commission of Kendall County (VACKC) on its 20th anniversary, founded in December 2002.

VACKC serves as the central office under the Military Veterans Assistance Act providing financial assistance and processing Veterans Affairs claims for Kendall County veterans and families.

Organization has assisted veterans by preventing evictions and foreclosures, restoring utilities, and providing financial assistance for food and necessities.

Federal VA compensation and pension benefits paid to Kendall County veterans total more than $21 million annually, with approximately $2 million in new monies received year-to-date.

For every taxpayer dollar invested in VACKC, $66 is returned to Kendall County through VA benefits acquired by veterans through the organization's efforts.
