Congratulates Ken Leonard on his retirement as head coach of Sacred Heart-Griffin High School football team (the Cyclones) at the end of the 2022 season.

Recognizes Coach Leonard's 42-season coaching career since 1980 with an overall record of 419-81, including 387-72 at SHG since 1984.

Honors 11 state championships won under his leadership, including victories in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2014, and 2022, plus four additional title-game appearances.

Notes Coach Leonard's additional service as athletic director of SHG and his status as the all-time winningest football coach in Illinois High School Association history.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Ken Leonard as an expression of esteem and respect.
