Congratulates Mike McCabe on his retirement as director of the Midwestern Office of The Council of State Governments (CSG)

McCabe led an 11-member team providing research and staff support to the Midwestern Legislative Conference, Great Lakes Legislative Caucus, and Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission

Assisted in creating multiple interstate compact agreements including the Midwestern Higher Education Compact, Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact, and Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision

Co-authored "The Evolving Use and the Changing Role of Interstate Compacts — A Practitioner's Guide" published by the American Bar Association in 2006

Graduated from Iowa State University and earned his law degree from the University of Illinois before working as an attorney in Des Moines, Iowa prior to joining CSG
