Honors Joseph Canady, who passed away on December 24, 2022, with a memorial resolution from the Illinois House of Representatives.

Canady was born March 1, 1955, in Macon, Georgia, and worked for Midas International for 29 years, retiring as plant manager before relocating to Chicago.

Served as village clerk for Richton Park beginning in June 2012 and was elected to the Richton Park Board of Trustees in June 2019.

Worked as a property manager for Park Towers in Richton Park and was involved with the Municipal Clerks' Association of South & West Suburbs of Cook County.

House extends sincere condolences to his surviving family members including his daughter, son, granddaughters, and sisters, and directs a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to his family.
