Honors Representative Kathleen Willis for 10 years of service in the Illinois General Assembly and thanks her for dedicated service to the state and her community.

Recognizes her educational background (bachelor's degree in Human Service Administration from Elmhurst College and master's degree in Library and Information Services from University of Illinois) and career as access services coordinator and children's literature instructor.

Acknowledges her community involvement including roles as vice president of Kiwanis Club of Addison, chair of Addison Special Events Commission, and support for the Dare to Dream program mentoring young Latinas.

Highlights legislative accomplishments including bills on special education placement, e-cigarette restrictions for minors, Medicaid fraud accountability, consumer protection from surcharges, and domestic violence survivor protections.

Congratulates Representative Willis on her retirement and directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to her as an expression of respect and esteem.
