Honors State Representative Michael W. Halpin for six years of service in the Illinois House of Representatives representing the 72nd District from January 2017 to January 2023.

Represents communities including Rock Island, Moline, East Moline, Andalusia, Edgington, Illinois City, Milan, Oak Grove, Reynolds, Silvis, and Taylor Ridge.

Recognizes his work on infrastructure, veteran support, government transparency, worker assistance, and constituent services, including legislation allowing schools to keep undesignated glucagon for diabetic emergencies.

Acknowledges his service as Illinois representative on the Interstate Passenger Rail Commission and his chairmanship of the Personnel and Pensions Committee.
