Illinois House of Representatives mourns the death of Jeanne Hebeisen of Elgin, who passed away on November 13, 2022.

Hebeisen earned a bachelor's degree in Math from the University of Wisconsin and later a degree in Computer Science; she worked as a systems analyst at Safety-Kleen and briefly taught math at Elgin Community College.

After retirement, Hebeisen volunteered extensively with organizations including the American Association of University Women, Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Head Start, and the YWCA, and received several awards for her volunteer work.

She is survived by six children, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, chosen family members, and her dog, Starr.

A suitable copy of the resolution shall be presented to Hebeisen's family as an expression of sympathy.
