Congratulates Representative Avery Bourne on her distinguished service to Illinois and her constituents in the 95th District.

Notes that Rep. Bourne was sworn in on February 20, 2015 as the youngest state representative ever to serve in the Illinois State Legislature and served for seven years representing Montgomery County and portions of Christian, Macoupin, and Madison Counties.

Recognizes her advocacy for the farming community, efforts to eradicate corruption, support for equitable education, fiscal reform, and pro-life values throughout her legislative service.

Highlights her appointment to the House Education Funding Task Force and Illinois School Funding Reform Commission in 2016, and credits her leadership in achieving comprehensive education funding reform in 2017.

Commends her service as Chair of the Legislative Ethics Commission to strengthen ethics laws and close corruption loopholes, and wishes her well in future endeavors.
