Commends Representative Tom Morrison on his retirement as State Representative of the 54th District, representing portions of Palatine, Inverness, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, Arlington Heights, and Schaumburg.

Morrison served on multiple committees including Appropriations-General Service (as Republican spokesperson), Personnel & Pensions, Insurance, Elementary and Secondary Education, Energy & Environment, Human Services, and the Property Tax Relief Task Force.

Recognized for opting out of the State's pension system, being named Champion of Free Enterprise by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce in 2020, and named Friend of Manufacturing in 2018.

Previously worked as a small business owner in disaster cleanup and restoration, a fifth grade teacher at Christian Liberty Academy for six years, and a radio news broadcaster.

Supported charitable organizations including Avenues to Independence and held annual "Baby Closet Drives" to collect supplies for families in need.
