Amends the Cook County Forest Preserve Article of the Illinois Pension Code Section 10-107 regarding financing and tax levy provisions.

Allows the Cook County Forest Preserve District to use other lawfully available funds in lieu of all or part of the annual property tax levy required to provide revenue for the pension fund.

Maintains existing tax levy limits and calculation methods based on employee contributions from two years prior, multiplied by 1.25 for 1972 and 1.30 for 1973 and thereafter.

Preserves the requirement that pension fund tax proceeds be kept as a separate fund and exempts this tax from general tax levy limitations.
