Establishes the Uniform Electronic Transactions in Dental Care Billing Act to standardize dental insurance billing and reimbursement forms and processes.

Requires all dental plan carriers and dental care providers to exchange claims and eligibility information electronically using standard electronic data interchange transactions compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Effective January 1, 2025, dental plan carriers are no longer required to accept non-electronic claims submissions or eligibility transactions from dental care providers.

Grants the Department of Insurance authority to adopt rules implementing the Act and establish exemptions as necessary.

Prohibits dental plan carriers and dental care providers from modifying the uniform electronic claims and eligibility requirements established by the Department.
