Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act to require legislators to file a written disclosure statement when voting on a matter despite a conflict of interest.

Legislators must state in the filing that they have a conflict regarding the legislative matter and that they are voting in the public interest.

Filed statements must be submitted to the Clerk of the House of Representatives or Secretary of the Senate and become part of the official legislative record.

Statements must be posted on the Illinois General Assembly website with other documents related to the legislative matter.

Act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
