• Eligible students must be Illinois residents under 24 years old, graduated from an Illinois high school, admitted as new freshmen or transfers, with zero expected family contribution (EFC) and total family assets under $50,000.

• Grant recipients must complete FAFSA annually, enroll in at least 12 semester hours per fall or spring semester, and work approximately 10 to 12 hours per week.

• Grant assistance is available for up to 4 years; recipients must maintain Illinois residency and satisfactory academic progress as determined by university rules.

• Applies to the University of Illinois, Southern Illinois University, Chicago State University, Governors State University, Illinois State University, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, and Western Illinois University.
