IL SB1079

Requires the Department of Professional Regulation to mandate sexual harassment prevention training for all licensees prior to license renewal.

Permits training to be provided by the licensee's employer, the Department of Human Rights, or any continuing education provider authorized under the Illinois Human Rights Act.

Removes the previous definition of "sexual harassment" from the statute and eliminates the requirement for a specific one hour of continuing education dedicated to the training.

Authorizes the Department to adopt rules for implementing the sexual harassment prevention training requirements.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
