IL SB1530

Increases the number of Illinois State Toll Highway Authority directors appointed by the Governor from 9 to 11, bringing the total board membership to 13 (including the Governor and Secretary of Transportation as ex officio members)

Establishes geographic representation requirements mandating at least one director each from Cook County, Lake County, DuPage County, Will County, the Winnebago/Boone/McHenry County region, and the Kane/DeKalb/Ogle/Lee County region

Raises the maximum number of directors from the same political party from 5 to 6

Requires the Governor to appoint one director from Lake County and one from Winnebago, Boone, or McHenry County within 30 days of the act's effective date

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
