• Creates the Criminal and Traffic Assessment Act Revisionary Task Force to review implementation of Public Act 100-987, study the municipal administrative adjudication process, and recommend revisions.

• Task Force consists of 20 members including legislators, state officials, Supreme Court representatives, and representatives from associations representing court clerks, municipalities, counties, and sheriffs.

• Task Force members serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for expenses, with administrative support provided by the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts.

• Task Force must submit findings and recommendations to the Supreme Court and General Assembly by June 1, 2022, and is dissolved on June 1, 2023.

• Extends the repeal date of the Criminal and Traffic Assessment Act and related court clerk fee provisions from January 1, 2022 to January 1, 2024.
