• Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act to require members of the General Assembly and candidates for nomination or election to the General Assembly to disclose additional economic interests on their statements of economic interests.

• Requires disclosure of names of all businesses with which the person is associated, with no minimum income threshold.

• Requires disclosure of all sources of income with descriptions of income exceeding $1,000, and names of securities in excess of $5,000 owned by the person or their relatives.

• Requires disclosure of real property owned by the person or relatives (excluding primary residence), names of creditors owed debts exceeding $10,000, contracts with the State of Illinois, and business associations with registered lobbyists.

• Requires disclosure of the existence of any known blind trusts.
