IL SB1912

Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 to change the standard for DCFS restricting or terminating parent-child and sibling contact from "contrary to" the child's health, safety, and welfare to "result in an immediate threat" to the child's health, safety, and welfare.

Requires that any reasonable belief to restrict contact must be based on credible evidence and occur on an individual case-by-case basis.

Allows DCFS to immediately restrict or terminate parent-child or sibling contact without amending the visitation plan or obtaining a court order when circumstances meet the immediate threat standard.

Requires DCFS to file amended plans with the court and serve parties within 10 days of any changes to visitation restrictions.
