IL SB1976

Amends the Unified Code of Corrections to require the Department of Corrections to appoint a point of contact person to receive suggestions, complaints, and requests from visitors to Department institutions and members of the public.

The point of contact serves as a centralized channel for public feedback regarding Department facilities and operations.

This addition is designated as subsection (u-6) under the Department's powers and duties in Section 3-2-2 of the code.
