Extends the deadline for retired teachers to work up to 120 paid days or 600 paid hours per school year (with no more than 100 days in the same classroom) from June 30, 2021 to June 30, 2023

Beginning July 1, 2023, the work limit for retired teachers reverts to 100 paid days or 500 paid hours per school year

Allows Teachers' Retirement System annuitants to accept post-retirement employment without losing retirement status, provided they do not work during the school year in which they terminated service

Amends Section 16-118 of the Illinois Pension Code governing return-to-service provisions for retired teachers

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
