SB2012 Summary

• Amends the Illinois Wildlife Code by adding Section 3.1-3a regarding wild turkey hunting permits for outfitters

• Requires the Department of Natural Resources to set aside a specific number of Wild Turkey Hunting Permits for licensed wild turkey outfitters operating in Illinois

• Authorizes wild turkey outfitters to distribute allocated permits to their customers as part of outfitting services

• Permits outfitters to also schedule hunts with individuals holding permits obtained through other means, not just those provided by the outfitter
