IL SB2201

Amends the Counties Code, Township Code, and Illinois Municipal Code to prohibit zoning ordinances from prohibiting or restricting industrialized residential structures or manufactured homes on real property

Allows industrialized residential structures and manufactured homes if they are compatible with the character of the zoning district, meet the same aesthetic compatibility requirements as other residential structures, and comply with exterior design standards

Establishes limitations on home rule counties and municipalities, preventing them from regulating industrialized residential structures or manufactured homes in a manner inconsistent with these provisions

Applies these protections to structures defined in the Industrialized Residential Structure Deed Restriction Act and the Manufactured Home Quality Assurance Act
