IL SB2226

Amends the Amusement Ride and Attraction Safety Act by modifying the definition of "amusement ride" to exclude certain dry slides, alpine slides, and toboggan slides from regulation.

Excludes slides placed in playgrounds that do not require supervision or services of an operator from the definition of amusement ride.

Excludes slides not open to the general public where admission is monitored and strictly controlled by invitation, company or group identification, or other identification methods from regulation.

Defines "inflatable attraction" as an amusement device made of flexible fabric, kept inflated by continuous air flow, used for bouncing, climbing, sliding, or interactive play.

Clarifies definitions of carnival workers, volunteers, operators, and other key terms related to amusement ride and attraction safety oversight by the Department of Labor.
