Prohibits application of restricted use pesticides on or within 500 feet of school property during normal school hours (Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding non-school days), except for whole structure fumigation.

Allows more restrictive provisions on pesticide labels to supersede the 500-foot school buffer requirement if label instructions are more protective.

Prohibits selling pesticides labeled for restricted use over the internet to Illinois residents who are not certified pesticide applicators.

Requires the Department of Agriculture to adopt rules necessary to implement the school property pesticide restrictions.

Effective date is January 1, 2022.
