IL SB2355

Extends special education eligibility for students with disabilities from age 21 to age 22 (through the day before their 23rd birthday) for school years 2021-2022 through 2025-2026, for students requiring continued public school educational experience to facilitate transition to adult life.

Expands the definition of "children with specific learning disabilities" to include children ages 3-22 years (instead of 3-21 years) during school years 2021-2022 through 2025-2026.

Allows school psychologists to provide school psychological services to children ages 3-22 years (instead of 3-21 years) during school years 2021-2022 through 2025-2026.

Allows school social workers to provide school social work services to children ages 3-22 years (instead of 3-21 years) during school years 2021-2022 through 2025-2026.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
