Allows employees re-employed by Chicago Board of Education as Special Education Classroom Assistants or Classroom Assistants on temporary, non-annual, or hourly basis to retain age and service or prior service annuities if they work no more than 120 days per school year or earn less than $30,000 gross compensation annually, effective July 1, 2021.

Permits Chicago Board of Education employees to purchase service credit for prior part-time employment with the Board by paying employee contributions, employer contributions determined by retirement board, and interest from service date to payment date.

Permits Chicago Board of Education employees to purchase service credit for prior employment with Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority under the same payment formula as part-time Board employment.

Excludes service credit for any prior employment already credited under other pension code provisions or during periods when applicant was on leave of absence.

Exempts the State from reimbursement obligations under the State Mandates Act for implementation of these provisions.
