Creates the Illinois Future of Work Task Force to proactively plan for the future of work while addressing current workforce challenges, with duties including identifying emerging technologies affecting employment, developing job standards for a vibrant middle class, and proposing workforce development programs.

Task Force membership consists of 19 members: four each appointed by the Senate President, Senate Minority Leader, House Speaker, and House Minority Leader (each group designates one co-chair); three Governor appointees from business, labor, or education communities; three Governor appointees with expertise in work and workers' rights; and Directors of Labor, Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Employment Security, and State Board of Education Superintendent.

All appointments must be finalized by January 31, 2022, with Task Force holding one meeting per month for 9 total meetings, with the first meeting within 30 days of appointment completion.

Task Force members serve without compensation, with the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity providing administrative support.

Task Force must submit final report to Governor and General Assembly by November 1, 2022, dissolves upon filing the report, and the Act repeals on January 1, 2024.
