Requires units of local government to post every elected official vacancy on their website if the website is maintained by full-time staff, with postings remaining until the vacancy is filled.

Mandates local governments submit elected official vacancies to the county clerk, who must post the information on the county website until the vacancy is filled.

Requires local governments to notify the county clerk when a vacancy is filled.

Prohibits home rule units from regulating the posting of elected official vacancies in a manner inconsistent with this Act.
