IL SB2564

Prohibits the Legislative Ethics Commission from adopting any rule requiring the Legislative Inspector General to seek advance approval before commencing investigations authorized under the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act.

Voids any existing rules as of the effective date of this amendment that require the Legislative Inspector General to obtain the Commission's advance approval before starting investigations.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
