Increases the fee for a coroner's or medical examiner's permit to cremate a dead human body from $50.00 to $100.00.

Allows the coroner to waive the cremation permit fee at their discretion if the person is determined to be indigent and unable to pay or under other special circumstances.

Maintains existing fee schedules for coroner's office services including transcript copies ($5.00 per page), autopsy reports ($50.00), toxicology reports ($25.00), and miscellaneous reports ($25.00 or actual cost, whichever is greater).

Requires all fees collected by the coroner's office to be deposited into a special county treasury account used solely for purchasing electronic and forensic identification equipment, supplies, and coroner's office operating expenses.
